A whinge

I find it rather amusing the amount of GLBT people whinging about discrimination, the church and politicians making offensive comments towards us, society's attitudes towards us and so on.
In response I give you 2 points:

1. How the fuck are "mainstream" society supposed to accept us when we in our own community have such predjudices toward eachother, not to mention the bitching and backstabbing that goes on.

2. If we really dont like comments the Church or politicians make toward us, then what do we expect to happen as we sit idly by and let it happen? Joining a Facebook group or blogging about it isnt going to achieve a thing. The heteros arent going to stick up for our rights, nor will the pollies untill they are forced to. Our community seems to be now more concerned about the latest track on Britney's new album then equal rights and acceptance in a world full of hate and ignorance.

Either do something, or shut the fuck up.
