Tomorrow 's weather forecast: Apocalyptic with a chance of Redemption.

Well, i've been getting pretty bad nausea in the mornings so I decided to drive into work and park under the State Library Carpark - a relativley 'cheap' $14.20 a day. Probably a good idea as 4 friends cars got smashed up by whats becoming known as the apocalypse storm of Perth.

Before leaving work, a lightning strike knocked out all the phones on my floor, the (reinforced) windows of the Bankwest tower were bending like paper, horizontal hail countless cars trying to drive through metre deep flooded water, only for the engines to become flooded. Oh, and the tunnels for the Clarkson and Mandurah lines were flooded too, the CBD was for once an interesting place to be this afternoon.

After a 3 hour journey home and a late dinner, I thought I'd have a glass of wine before bed, which helped me nod off. I probably should have just finished the bottle seeing as its 3am and I can't seem to get back to sleep. Atleast i'm not one of those people living in the apartments at the base of Kings Park who will be spending the night in the Convention Centre due to the landslide at Mt Elisa (near Jacob's Ladder).

Oh well, work tommorow shall be interesting. Meanwhile, join some of the Facebook groups that have been created - some awesome photos people have uploaded.

Makes you wonder...

It makes me wonder that kind of dillusioned twats run this country, with the recent termoil in the Liberal party, and the complete idiots who are in government. Today, however - I make reference to our state government, and the baboon we have as our police commisioner. That's right, he's a baboon.

So, the media have made a big hoo-ha about voilence in Northbridge, and Mr Barnett - along with his buddy Karl, have decided that they need to look like they are actually doing something to the Today Tonight viewers. Of course, ignoring the fact that 80% of reported anti social behaviour in Northbridge occurs between 11pm and 3am, with 20% occuring before and after those times, they decide the silver bullet is to;

- Have nightclubs close an hour earlier at 5am on Saturday and Sunday mornings;

- A "lockout" at 4am;

- Banning the sale of shooters and spirits after 1am.

How are any of these measures going to affect the 80% of incidents I mentioned above? It will simply harm business in Northbridge, and probably increase antisocial behaviour.

None of the above really effect me, when I do go out I usually leave at around 3.30am anyway - though I do enjoy a shot or two after 1am. Its really the principle - I see no point to it.

Singling out nightclubs when the vast majority of incidents, underage patrons and lack of security are at Hotels/Pubs such as the Elephant and Wheelbarrow, The Deen, The Court and Black Betty's is a waste of time and money.

Well, time shall tell. I believed the previous state government to be idiots, looks like these guys are just as bad.

Anyway, statistics I mentioned are here, where you can also join the Facebook group and keep updated.

Sizzling sausages.

Hello summer, you're finally back with a vengance. So my burnt shoulder and face say atleast.

What an awesome weekend its been. No work, beaching, chilling, doing whatever I feel like. Its great, and a taste of whats to come for the remainder of summer methinks. I have been a bit slack at the gym lately, however i've spent an exhorbant amount of money on personal training so I will be pushing myself as much as possible over the coming months. I expect continued results.

So all in all, by summers end I think i'll be partied out, with an improved body and bank balance thanks to my pending salary increase.

Oh, and come support Pride by attending the official end of pride festival party. It will also be my last night working at the club. Crazy night promised.

Well, life's outlook appears good. Kudos me.
