So, i'm stuck and cant seem to gain anymore weight. I'm getting stronger, but the weight stays the same.
Apparently I need to consume about another 400 calories a day/another 40grams of protien. That will be difficult seeing as i'm already eating 5 well-portioned meals a day, plus 2 protien shakes (on average).
I may have to just resort to those easy protien/carb meals which are also high in fat..ie: a quarter pounder burger. I train hard 5x a week, so I shouldn't really put on any body fat. Clogging of the arteries really isn't good though.
Anyhow, time shall tell.
As for work - well I'm pretty happy with my new role at the Bank. Even managed to score myself dual wide-screen monitors, which really allows me to get my job done much quicker running 4 or 5 different programs at the same time. My desk sits directly looking over the William St/St Georges intersection, and Swan River - quite nice, though I've moved down ten floors to level 18.
So yes - I see myself getting pretty settled in this new role and I'm getting my head around the Business side of lending and so on slowly but surely.
Friday last week was the CEO Roadshow held at the Convention Centre - a short stroll from work. Only about 500 relevent staff could attend, I was one of them. It was interesting and they managed to even get the crowd quite uplifted when showing a swanky presentation of the companies achievements in the last financial year, the loud 80's rock music helped. The next 12 months will bring many exciting things to both us and the customers, including mobile online banking and a completley revamped, more user friendly and overall awesome website which will be more innovative and better than any of the other Banks are offering - stay tuned.
As for Raine Square, well my area will be situated on the 14th floor. The move should be taking place "sometime next year". I don't hold my breath seeing as the building's construction has been halted since February. I'm really looking forward to leaving the tower and its poor and out-dated facilities, even though my floor is one of the 'nicer' floors.
Well, I'm off for now to make myself some eggs and toast before a much needed sleep.

Dirty Vinyl Pusher

As of late i've been putting my credit card to good use and expanding my rather small collection of vinyls (dwarfed by my grandparent's collection). I'm trying to get a mix of classics and dance tunes, maybe one day I can afford the $10,000 for DJ equipment and start a new hobby, one day. I find DJ software to be shit, and takes away half the fun and skill of it I've noticed from my limited experience.
Recently I was lucky to stumble across a rare Boney M vynil. The sound quality is always so much better, with a higher frequency bandwidth to CDs and all, which can be fully appreciated if you actually have a decent needle.
Anyhow, I've noticed something;
Ra Ra Bad Romance - Ra Ra Rasputin,
Ma Ma Ma Poker Face - Ma Ma Ma Ma Baker
Fuck you Lady Gaga, copying Boney M.
Thats all. I need sleep - training early tomorrow.

It was three months late.
Finally, I pass the 70kg barrier. All while maintaining body fat under 12%.
Pretty good. Good enough that its worth showing a quick shot of the progress i've made so far;

So, mostly gained in the chest, a little in the arms too. Legs are proving to me a real mission, but will get there.
Will update again in another three months, maybe.

I find this ad hilarious, especially as during the latter years of the model's lifespan it became popular with Australia's more 'undesirable' class...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vv20cp4coc
Here's the ad for my car, well - the model before my car, it's the closest one I could find...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlnPEvxE6HU
1998 Magna Sports - first Australian car to have triptonic...mine is the much updated 02/03 model, but you get the drift.
Oh, and gym is going well after my bout with gastro. Gained the 3kg I lost in no time and pushing back on into the new year. Shall be good!

Sizzling sausages.
Hello summer, you're finally back with a vengance. So my burnt shoulder and face say atleast.
What an awesome weekend its been. No work, beaching, chilling, doing whatever I feel like. Its great, and a taste of whats to come for the remainder of summer methinks. I have been a bit slack at the gym lately, however i've spent an exhorbant amount of money on personal training so I will be pushing myself as much as possible over the coming months. I expect continued results.
So all in all, by summers end I think i'll be partied out, with an improved body and bank balance thanks to my pending salary increase.
Oh, and come support Pride by attending the official end of pride festival party. It will also be my last night working at the club. Crazy night promised.
Well, life's outlook appears good. Kudos me.

Feel the love
Moby doing a quick set at Loveparade 2008 - a European music festival. I fucking love it. Many of you know I aspire to get into djing...real djing that is. None of those computer beatmatching crap. Funds and time being my only setbacks.
Crank, listen, feel the love.

And i'm back
So it's been six months since my last post. Who reads this anyway?
Well from now on I'm probably going to be contributing to this a bit more, however with a slightly different angle. For one i'll be giving a quick summary of my progress at the gym every time I sign off. Since I've been putting my guts into bulking up, including changing my diet and having set workout routines and actually weighing myself I have noticed a huge difference in the way I feel and look.
To give you a basic idea, I came out of a 5 month relationship about 6 weeks ago. At that point I had lost alot of weight due to stress and a little mild depression, since snapping out of it and realising that I have alot more time to work on myself now, I have gained 6kg. Thats 1kg per week of muscle gain. Mainly to my arms, calves and chest/back. Body fat has also decreased and my long lost abs are beginning to become once again visible are proof of this (these dissapeared when I started an office job). The harder I train, the more of an appetite I get and the better I feel. Its quite awesome and the seeds of addiction have been well and truly sewed.
Goal is to hit 75kg by Jan 1 2010. I think I can do it, it's only 13 kg away. The hard part is packing on the muscle, and not fat.
I'm not making the entire blog about my gym progress, it will be a well balanced mix.
Promise.
