Tomorrow 's weather forecast: Apocalyptic with a chance of Redemption.

Well, i've been getting pretty bad nausea in the mornings so I decided to drive into work and park under the State Library Carpark - a relativley 'cheap' $14.20 a day. Probably a good idea as 4 friends cars got smashed up by whats becoming known as the apocalypse storm of Perth.

Before leaving work, a lightning strike knocked out all the phones on my floor, the (reinforced) windows of the Bankwest tower were bending like paper, horizontal hail countless cars trying to drive through metre deep flooded water, only for the engines to become flooded. Oh, and the tunnels for the Clarkson and Mandurah lines were flooded too, the CBD was for once an interesting place to be this afternoon.

After a 3 hour journey home and a late dinner, I thought I'd have a glass of wine before bed, which helped me nod off. I probably should have just finished the bottle seeing as its 3am and I can't seem to get back to sleep. Atleast i'm not one of those people living in the apartments at the base of Kings Park who will be spending the night in the Convention Centre due to the landslide at Mt Elisa (near Jacob's Ladder).

Oh well, work tommorow shall be interesting. Meanwhile, join some of the Facebook groups that have been created - some awesome photos people have uploaded.
